Ruth Jones
Born in Cornwall 1979. Ruth has had a passion for drawing from an early age and her talent was rewarded by an Art Scholarship to Truro School at the age of 11.
Ruth has an innate understanding of colour and tone, and a strong grasp of the solidity of objects. She has real sense of scale and proportion, and the space between things is visually delightful. Her handling of paint is lively and full of vitality, and her work has an impressive honesty and integrity. Her paintings show maturity and style.
